The Badger Shaman

New commission for
It's been an honor, being part of the creation of this mysterious shamanic Badger! After all, he's playing a rather important role ;3
It's been a while since I did a piece with this much background.. And even though it was made relatively quickly, I'm quite satisfied with the result. As for the Badger himself, who's deciding to craft himself a walking stick from a dead juniper and bend a rock to a comfortable sitting level, a late summer after noon. His belt has flattened pieces of turquoise that stands out from the worn leather and fur.
 Soon the cold winds will sweep in from the north, and it's still a long way to go..

The rocks color came from my love of the red sandstone that can be found literally everywhere in the area around Orsa, Sweden. 

I had alot of fun with this one^^ And it's also my very first piece that I've done entirely while standing! x3
