you must use more colours. especially in digital pieces. I mean - your cyan is like "c" from cmyk, and your blue is like "b" from rgb ;3 etc. it is easily visible in digitals becasue colours are perfectly clean(not like traditionals, even paints taken straight from tube are not that bright and clear as colours in graphic programms on the monitor). you have photoshop now, right? mixing colours in ps is pure fun. it's not just adding black or white to shades.
not that colours in traditional pieces can be taken straight from the tube, no, no, no. for example, if you paint whole picture brightly you have no further possibility to add contrasts.
drawing landscapes is all different story. the key is taking a picture from the net and just drawing from nature, from real life. changes you want to add to create more fantasy, fairytale look are up to you. you know the best how much you want to take from reality.
we must find a way to draw together in real time. that would be easier.
Okay, I wrote all in general.
Ooh, I know. The bird. It's too big. It's almost like a roc here ^^ Also it's shouldn't be black, but dark brown/beige.
About the armour, I gues I told you already everything^^ I am amazed. Also with the way you coloured it. Reflections are great. But the cape, as I said, it's unrealisticaly blue^^
